This was a pretty fascinating look at Tony Hawk’s career. Really well shot and edited. This definitely took me back. I actually remember watching the X-Games in 1999 when he landed the 900. It was an official competition yet, when he attempted the 900 and nearly landed it, it seemed like the world stopped. He gets up to attempt it again….fails. Time expires for his run, but he makes his way back up the ramp to try again. Everyone just keeps watching. I remember being completely gripped by this moment in time and it’s faithfully represented here along with quite a lot of stuff I didn’t know about his childhood and early career.
