Picking up weeks after New Blood, Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) awakens from a coma in a New York hospital, having miraculously survived being shot by his son, Harrison. From there, the show dives into familiar territory - but with a fresh setting, sharper writing, and a darker emotional core.
