The Fantastic Four: First Steps

Unfortunately, we will continue to wait for a "good" adaptation of Marvel's first family. While Fantastic 4: First Steps opts to do away with a traditional origins story and gets right into the conflict, we are left with very little character development which does not convince the audience that each member is who they are, with the exception of Johnny Storm.
Despite only having a 2 hour runtime, the pacing of the movie drags and ultimately does not feel much much has happened, let alone that much has been accomplished.
With boring action, poor character development across the protagonists and antagonist(s), Fantastic 4: First Steps is, unfortunately, underwhelming in its (re)introduction of Marvel's first family.
