Bickford Waner, aparentemente un joven ingenuo de Fort Worth, llega a la pequeña ciudad tejana de Dime Box y se gana la vida con pequeños trabajos. Hace amistad con Reese Ford y su mujer Molly. Pronto Molly seduce a Bickford. Solamente con la llegada de Janet Conforto, antigua novia de Bickford, se descubre que él es realmente el famoso ladrón de trenes Kid Blue. Humillado por el escándalo creciente de su asunto con la mujer de su amigo, Bickford comienza a planear un crimen.

“Kid Blue” is a 1970s counter-culture Western in which the roles are flipped—the sheriff is a corrupt bully, the robber is a flawed antihero, and the one good man loses his grip after his wife’s betrayal. While it had the potential to be great, the story ultimately fell flat and fizzled out.
