Silverado
Heroický příběh několika psanců, kteří se musejí postavit proti zločincům, vystupujícím ovšem pod maskou zákona. Dobrodruh Paden, černý farmář Mal, Emmett a jeho mladičký bratr Jake se potkávají na cestě do Silverada, kde se chtějí usadit. Jejich putování do zaslíbeného města je vlastně „road movie na koních“. Muži cestou zažijí několik nebezpečných dobrodružství, díky jimž se z nich stávají blízcí přátelé. Vnitřní síla a touha po spravedlnosti donutí jezdce postavit se i zlu, které v Silveradu představují šerif Cobb a bohatý starousedlík McKendrick. Každý ze čtyř přátel bojuje nejen za své právo, ale i za práva ostatních.

A really terrific movie which almost singlehandedly brought the Western back from the dead. What you forget after not seeing it since it was in theaters 40 years ago is how absolutely entertaining it is: the perfect blend of 80s bravura cinema (Lawrence Kasdan, whom we remember as the writer behind the best of the Star Wars movies writes and directs) along with the entire legacy of Western storytelling.
