From Russia with Love

Agent 007 is back in the second installment of the James Bond series, this time battling a secret crime organization known as SPECTRE. Russians Rosa Klebb and Kronsteen are out to snatch a decoding device known as the Lektor, using the ravishing Tatiana to lure Bond into helping them. Bond willingly travels to meet Tatiana in Istanbul, where he must rely on his wits to escape with his life in a series of deadly encounters with the enemy.
Tighter, colder, and more grounded than its predecessor, From Russia with Love cements Bond as a serious player in the spy genre. Connery is sharper, the villains are nastier, and the espionage actually feels like a game of chess.
The pacing is deliberate, but the payoff is worth it. Train fights, secret briefcases, and Cold War tension all give the film a sense of weight the series rarely revisits.
A confident, calculated sequel that raises the bar without losing the cool.
