This is shocking output from director Spike Lee and Washington’s performance is also underwhelming. The film deserves little more criticism not because it doesn’t deserve it but because it doesn’t command the time of day in its baseless capacity for further comment. You’d be best served watching Ransom (1996) with Mel Gibson than this trifle.
