One of the most forgotten amazing movies of the 2010s. I don't understand why it doesn't get more recognition. It adapts the books faithfully, Jack Black is at some of his best, Dylan Minnette was in the mid 2010s peak of his career, and the movie is just overall a GREAT watch, especially around Halloween. We don't talk about its sequel.
