This Karate Kid sequel series picks up 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament and finds Johnny Lawrence on the hunt for redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo. This reignites his old rivalry with the successful Daniel LaRusso, who has been working to maintain the balance in his life without mentor Mr. Miyagi.

On paper there is no way on earth Cobra Kai, which is a sequel series to the popular Karate Kid film franchise, should be as good as it is. Scratch that, as GREAT as it is. While most sequel films or shows lean heavy in to nostalgia only, Cobra Kai delivers a welcome return of fan favorites but also moves the story forward with a new generation of students. From start to finish, Cobra Kai delivers excellent story telling, amazing action, and laughs for the whole family. Very few shows start strong and end just as strong. Cobra Kai delivers in ways most franchises aspire to. Highly recommended!
