De Lego Film
Emmet, een doodnormaal Lego-figuurtje, wordt ten onrechte aangezien als de meest bijzondere persoon, en degene die de sleutel is tot het redden van de wereld. Hij wordt meegezogen in een gemeenschap van vreemdelingen op een epische zoektocht naar een kwaadaardige tiran. Een reis waar Emmet totaal niet tegen opgewassen is.

“EVERYTHING IS AWSOME…” - this alone just sums up the film so well.
The scene at the start of the film during ‘Everything is Awesome’ was so satisfying to watch. There was just so much going on that I feel like I could watch it back and back and yet still find something in the background that I hadn’t seen originally.
The fact literally every single animated bit of this movie is made of LEGO is nothing short of incredible. Watching the explosions, bullets being shot from guns and the flames all being LEGO just brings it all together so well.
You have to constantly be paying attention to any scene with President Business in as there always seems to be something going on in the background which can give you some laughs.
Talking about laughs, I laughed so much more than I totally expected. This is one of the few films targeted towards children which is actually enjoyable to watch for all ages.
By far my favourite quote is from Batman - “I only work in black… or sometimes very very dark grey”
