A Minecraft Movie
Four misfits are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into a bizarre cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. To get back home they'll have to master this world while embarking on a quest with an unexpected expert crafter.
A Minecraft Movie is an absolute blast that had my kid grinning from ear to ear, and that’s what makes it a winner in my book! This blocky adventure brings the Minecraft world to life with vibrant visuals, goofy humor, and just the right amount of action. Jack Black’s Steve and Jason Momoa’s Garrett “The Beast” lead a ragtag crew through a wild Overworld, battling creepers and piglins while crafting epic builds. My kid was glued to the screen, laughing at Krypto the dog and cheering for every explosion. Compared to the junky shows they try pushing on kids, this is pure, wholesome fun that stays true to the game’s spirit. A couple of slower bits and predictable moments don’t drag it down—my kid didn’t care, and neither did I! 5/5 stars – A colorful, kid-approved Minecraft adventure that’s perfect for family Plex nights. Let your kids dive in and enjoy!
