Eight years after he's left Kentucky, Givens is now based in Miami, balancing life as a marshal and part-time father of a 14-year-old girl. A chance encounter on a Florida highway sends him to Detroit and he crosses paths with Clement Mansell, aka The Oklahoma Wildman, a violent sociopath who's already slipped through the fingers of Detroit's finest once and wants to do so again.

Not quite as good as the original six seasons of the series, but it was fun to revisit the character of Marshal Raylan Givens. This time he's in Detroit working a case. It's not nearly as fun as the rednecks he dealt with in Kentucky in the original series...but it was still worth the watch. I hope they eventually do one more season with Raylan squaring off with Boyd Crowder for one last showdown.
