In un campo di addestramento dei Marines nel South Carolina diciassette giovani civili vengono trasformati in macchine da guerra e di morte. Partito per il Vietnam, uno dei diciassette lavora per un giornale militare e si trova coinvolto nell'offensiva del Tet.

It was AMAZING! It teaches me a lot about what they were like in war. I am actually learning about it right now in school and this movie helped me get an A+ on my science paper! Thank you so much to everyone who made this movie it really helped me out in school and in life. It was a great plot twist when the "fat guy" was getting punished in really terrible ways and then killed there captain and then killed himself wow I thought he would just be happy that he learned how to move his gun but I was wrong....... I am not gonna spoil anymore so if you see this before the movie...........................................
GO WATCH IT IT'S SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!
