Bushwick
It has a cool and intense idea—what if a modern civil war broke out in the middle of New York? The action kicks off fast, and the long-shot style makes it feel pretty real and gritty. Dave Bautista is surprisingly solid, and Brittany Snow does a decent job too.
That said, the movie feels rough around the edges. The dialogue can be awkward, and the plot doesn’t always make a lot of sense. It tries to say something deep about America, but never really gets there.
Still, it’s different and has some exciting moments. Not great, but worth a watch if you’re into low-budget action with a unique setup.
