The Tales of Strango the Clown: The Chronicles of Gillygutz

The Tales of Strango the Clown: The Chronicles of Gillygutz
The tragic story of a high powered business exec. Lawrence "Strangio" Del Rio who loses it all forcing him down a dark insidious path of multiple gruesome murders under the disguise as Strango The Clown. The most notorious and vulgar stand up comedian on the Dark Web. ( This move is NOT FOR KIDS!)
My quick rating - 3.0/10. Ok, filmed completely during the COVID lockdown, so keep that in mind. If a buddy showed this to me, I would be impressed with the animated visuals, the editing, the use of filters, basically every one they could get their hands on. But to call this a movie is a farce. The intro looks promising with some creepy imagery. The reality is all of the horror elements were there as an excuse for this dude to peddle his subpar stand-up routine. I would suggest to Erwin Douglas (Stango, and all aspects of the movie) to consider using those editing skills and get a job on an actual horror movie. The clips that tried to work towards a story in this actually were decent for the budget. Granted, these were all about killing his ex-wives, so he may also have to work on a bit of a storyline. They were just so few and overshadowed by the lame attempt at raunchy jokes supposedly on the darknet (btw, cost was 2000 Bitcoin to watch, he didn't do much research on crypto OR that is some inside joke, either way, dumb.) While coronavirus is fresh, this movie might have some relevance, but beyond that, maybe as a promo reel, he got a gig at a local comedy club.
