Sharky und seine Profis
Nachdem die letzte Undercover-Aktion von Sergeant Sharky in den Straßen von Atlanta schief gelaufen ist, wird er degradiert und anschließend in den Keller zur Sittenpolizei strafversetzt. Dort soll er künftig zusammen mit dem eigenwilligen Cop "Papa" und Arch zusammenarbeiten. Als er bei einer Überwachung einer Escort-Dame namens Dominoe feststellt, dass hinter den Kulissen sich üble Machenschaften abspielen, ist er zwischen seinem Job und diesem speziellen Fall hin und her gerissen.

Burt Reynolds directs this sleazy, slick remake of Laura with all kinds of flair. More than a bit is lifted from Italian crime films and giallo and erotic trillers of the time.
Burt should have made a series of these because this could have been a fun cop series.
Atlanta is the location and it captures it’s sleazy side well.
