the most satisfying setups and deaths of the franchise, especially the gymnastics scene. but that ending, holy shit that ending. this film depends on the context of the original to really sell the impact of it and god is it so fucking satisfying. i also like how william bloodworth has become more of a harbinger of death over the years. all that being said, i could’ve done without the r slur and the character of isaac palmer. the movie feels like a perfect capstone for the series, so i’m very intrigued with how bloodlines is going to pan out when it releases later this month.
