Mario consigns his girlfriend Licia to a whorehouse for an evening in order to get the photographic goods to blackmail her father with. To get her out of the way, Licia is then consigned to a mental hospital by her father.

Licia certainly loves a good murder psychout. Unmistakably a 60’s gialli complete with signature musical montages. This was a bit of a chore to get through though. Just never really felt much propulsive energy pushing the narrative forward. Didn’t really care for the characters or their fates which effectively turns down any potential tension. I kind of liked the ending though and that final shot of the two of them left looking at each other across the dinner table. Can’t really say, I’d recommend it though.
