"Shotgun" unfurls a predictable revenge saga centered around a protagonist avenging his friend's death with a shotgun. Yet, despite its prominent presence, the gun remains unfired throughout the film. Yvonne De Carlo's role as the love interest falls flat, and her interactions with her male counterparts lack heat. This film needs more substance and may be best left unwatched.
