汤姆经营着一家汽车配件厂，生意可谓是非常的成功。但随着身躯渐渐老去，汤姆知道是时候为公司找一个继承人了，而这个继承人就是汤姆的儿子汤米（布莱恩·丹内利 Brian Dennehy 饰）。可是，汤米是一个不学无术的死胖子，整天就知道吃喝玩乐，根本就不值得托付。就在汤米回到父亲身边没多久，汤姆就去世了，留下了铁面无私的理查德（大卫·斯佩德 David Spade 饰）来协助汤姆料理公司大小事务。汤米和理查德最大的敌人是汤米的继母贝弗利（波·德瑞克 Bo Derek 饰），贝弗利嫁给汤姆完全就是为了霸占他的财产，而一直在身边假扮她的儿子的男人，实际上是她的情人。

Freaking hilarious. When Spade and Farley click, their natural chemistry is off the charts. Too many laugh out loud scenes to mention but they always make me bust a gut.
