Aliens is an absolutely bombastic follow-up to 1979's Alien, and man... *chef's kiss*
It's absolutely packed with a sense of self that I love. It doesn't have the desolate horror atmosphere of its predecessor, but it has iD Software-esque corridors, dim and moody lighting, and lots and lots of action. The initial battle between the Marines and xenomorphs is top-notch, and Ripley's infamous line to the Queen near the end my favorite stand-out highlights.
Absolutely incredible movie.
