The story within the pictures isn't the story here but rather the pictures telling the story. Michelangelo Antonioni uses his camera to create a visual masterpiece in exquisite black-and-white, with his celluloid canvas highlighted by beautiful lead actors in all of their photogenic glory. A chatty picture this is not. It's the lens that does most of the talking.
