Kill la Kill is a show I have pretty mixed feelings about. On one hand, it’s a wild, flashy ride that’s a lot of fun to watch. But on the other hand, it's more style than substance. It's disappointing, considering the talent behind it, Masahiko Ôtsuka and Hiroyuki Imaishi, who already showed that with FLCL and TTGL, you can have both.
