A quietly moving film about a struggling artist, Lizzy, that is just kind of surviving. Her passive aggressive landlord walks all over her. It’s not until we’re slowly let in to what Lizzy’s relationships with her family immediate family were like, that we understand why Lizzy acts the way she does. It can’t be understated the importance of a hot shower, though. I feel like the whole movie is different if Jo just fixes the damn water heater. Also, I feel like André 3000 should be in more things.
