The first film was epic! This falls short. The fight scenes and everything seems forced. It has a couple of funny spots, but lacks what the original had.
I went into this film blind, just knowing that it was from Luc Besson. It lived up to everything you would expect from him. It has an underdog, who is in anti-hero who overcomes the greatest of obstacles to become the most unlikeliest of heroes. It’s a brilliant film that makes you feel all of your emotions. I mean that it makes your soul feel triumphant at the same time is giving you a kick ass experience. It’s why we go to the movies. For this unexpected amazing feeling.
I went into this film completely blind… I’ve pretty much seen everything in every genre had heard about this little gym, but never watched it for one reason or another. I absolutely loved it. The same way you love regarding Henry. The book of Henry is a film that takes you through every emotion.
OK, so start slow and character building and backstory… but then if you stick with it by the end, it totally goes Tarantino. It is fun. It’s a great character study. It’s dark and you should probably see it.
Riff Raff
Outlander
The first three seasons are just plain amazing! It is graphic and violent and greedy and fun and sexy and just so much cool going on! And then when they switched to the new evil dude, it totally kind of changed the arc of the show and I found myself slowly losing interest. I only watch this because my wife was in love with it, and then I started watching it, and I fell in love with it, but then we both kind of came to the same conclusion that it had become what we were always afraid of a sappy romance novel. None of the character decisions make sense. All that being said, you should still watch the first three seasons.
The best show or at least one of the best shows that Netflix has ever produced! It’s a great telling of the character in the marvel universe. You may not have always loved. But every single episode is so watchable and the show itself is so Bingeable you just don’t want it to end!! It’s a great series really if you haven’t watched it and you’re reading this what’s wrong with you? Just watch it. It’s gonna be worth it. I shouldn’t have to talk you into it.
Sooooooo much fun! Makes fun of, but also celebrates the horror genre. It turns it on its head, and holds up as a solid horror film you can watch again and again
Loved this series! Great characters, dark, gritty tales from the old west. It can be fun, then brutal. Its hero is close to that of deadwood. It just hits on such a great great level. Charming and bad ass and a bad boy all at the same time. You love watching how people struggled to make those first American dreams become a reality. You also see how not all who first came to America retreated the same. It’s a good look in the mirror and it makes no apologies. But yet you feel everybody contributed to making the American railroad. Something that is to be admired and put you in awe
This is not the movie I thought it was going to be. Not that I knew what to expect, but it wasn’t what I expected. No spoilers, just watch it to the very end. Laugh and then cry, and then cry some more. Maoist Stella is great, just brilliant and traversing a difficult youth landscape, Percy Haynes White is so charming he makes you feel all of the feels. It takes you back to that pivotal summer we had. Those couple of months when you left your old friends, old life, behind. And when you came back, you had evolved somehow into a new, more expansive human. Watch the film. Then go and tell everyone you know that you love their ass…family, friends, and then remember to love yourself back.
The original (not directors cut) of this film is amazing. A love letter to cinema and the theater experience. A coming of age store that revolves around film, the love of cinema… and heartbreak. It’s a perfect film
Cinema Paradiso
The Studio (2025)
I’m somebody who’s in the entertainment industry and this series hit on every level! Each episode is shot in a different cinematographic style, and even if you weren’t to understand that film language, you would still truly love the slapstick nature of it all. It’s a great series a love letter to Hollywood… but a toxic relationship with Hollywood as well 😜
So much fun! A great series that starts with the premise what do you do when you lose everything and live in a neighborhood surrounded with those that still have everything? A total anti-hero and a story how you wrestle back your humanity when all you’ve ever done was chase money. Can’t wait for another season of the show! Don’t miss it give it a watch
Your Friends & Neighbors
The Accountant 2
The first film was the total of surprise hit. It was just great to see someone on the spectrum who is kicking ass and unraveling. His origin. Story was just so much fun. The twisted the end made it a great film…. This is totally not that movie. This isn’t even close to that movie. I would assume that this was just a cash grab. It has no heart no soul. They force fed all the information into an “AI hit bot” and told it to produce a sequel film. But apparently the main switch was flipped to crap. So it cranked out a crappy film. Congratulations.
An unexpected gem of a series! A covert comedy of errors, this series was unexpected hidden gem. It’s a dark, bleak super fun ride. Don’t want to give away anything, but just watch episode one and that will set the pace
