I love this show. The writing, acting, story. Huge plot twists at the end of this episode. Wow.
Sheriff Country - Ř1 • D19 - Compromised
Code 3
Great movie. It’s so much deeper than just some dark comedy, touching on the reality of how people survive mentally after seeing so much. If everyone said what they really thought…Rainn was PERFECT for this part.

Jerry & Marge Go Large
An easy watch with a message about what it really means to win in life. It's nice to see others benefit rather than just yourselves. I had seen a lot about this Winfall "flaw" on YouTube and still held my attention the way they presented the story. Rainn Wilson had some funny moments playing mildly clueless but still blurting out things as Dwight might have.
Seems more like a personal thing with a deeper message about becoming someone before you feel worthy, then realizing what you missed out on chasing that notion. The humor is more like a mask over the feelings. Some of it hits, some of it misses. They found the right people for the parts. I think if there were more backstory, it seems too simple; but maybe that's the point that, "things were simple growing up, before I was working on becoming someone,...I wish I could go back."

Sheriff Country - Ř1 • D13 - The Finest (I)
Make sure to watch part 2 which is a crossover event with Fire Country (Season 4, Episode 13) "The Bravest." It's actually just another Sheriff Country episode with more cameos, but I guess they're trying to get more Fire Country viewers to watch this show too.
The mystery of Mickey and Travis not working out makes more and more sense and I'm rooting for Nathan and Mickey to realize they're meant for each other haha
Not my favorite story arc, gets too unbelievable and ridiculous. I get the messaging to be vigilant of the ultra vigilant, but c'mon. I like the childhood memories and being able to see how far gone people are these days. People are hard to talk to when they are brainwashed. Kudos for tackling the subject. I think the stereotypical right wing anti government farming family isn't going to be shooting up a police station, just rage posting on Facebook and complaining at the local cafe to the like minded boomers while drinking too much coffee again.
Steve is holding the show together and everything else is getting annoying. Subplots going around in circles making me stop caring if they will/wont/will. Roasting Archie was funny when Greg did it, but it's getting old how much hate the guy gets for being full of whimsy when things get complicated. He messed up but geez it's getting tired. Katie looked happier at the end so maybe the tone will shift. Sunny was super nice and understanding, now she's gone. The "Wonderful Life" theme was nice, and they really tricked Greg into thinking they hated it; or maybe they did but decided it's for him. I'm just tired of the negative cynical boring characters in this that are almost like bipolar or something and can't make a decision. His ex wife is the "too much" and thinks he needs to do more but he's been experimenting, so it doesn't make sense. Is this only going to be one season, it seems like it's never going to actually go anywhere...
It's a good movie, just more for a middle school audience to watch with their parents on a Sunday afternoon type of vibe.

Super Dark Times
Tries too hard to be unrated (beyond R) with the dialogue inappropriately awkward and maybe I'm feeling the generational gap here but I know teenagers are like this but it's still just messy and uncomfortable. I would've liked more of an investigative and tense crime drama feel, instead of just teenagers handling things on their own. The part toward the end where Josh went off the deep end and didn't have any emotion felt more like the origin story of a new horror franchise like the next Halloween than part of this film. Zach's part was too mature, like he grew up around police or investigators and wanted to be one, but just kind of "knows" things. Maybe I didn't pay attention close enough because I had to pause to do a few things, but felt like there could've been a much more hashed out drama and they just kept it simple enough for the stoner crowd and underage drinkers watching lol
