- Scream
The OG Scream 😱🔪 was a lightning in a bottle slasher film; where it just had the perfect formula & balance on how to make the perfect slasher! It features has one of the most iconic openings & final girls in all of horror. It's very very quotable, all of the main & side characters are all great & memorable. And an iconic horror villain was born in Ghostface. Scream 1996 birthed alongside "The Evil Dead" franchise one of the most consistent & solid horror franchises of all time. The Scream franchise in my mind is yet to have a bad entry in it. The original Scream just had the complete formula & balance on how to make the perfect slasher! And no Scream movie as much as I love both Scream 3 & 2; don't come anywhere near the magic of that 1st film, which is very fair & realistic to say!! It's paced absolutely perfectly 👌 there's nothing that you can add or take away from it. Wes Craven R.I.P & Kevin Williamson were on fire 🔥 when making this genre defining film!! Scream 1996 is one of those films like "Jaws 1975" for example, that's endlessly rewatchable, quotable & perfectly paced as I've already mentioned from start to finish.Scream - Braveheart
Mel Gibsons 🗡 Braveheart is in my Top 25 favourite movies of all time!! This epic is just firing on all cylinders from the very opening right up until the closing credits. There's never ever a dull or boring moment at all here!! Mel Gibson 💯 put his heart & soul into this project. And at the time he was one of the biggest movie stars in the world. He really was at the peak of his powers; he absolutely sells & gives every single scene his all as William Wallace with such conviction & purpose behind it, this performance imo is an all timer from him. And also what I really love about Braveheart is; that it covers a lot of different topics in a very powerful, meaningful & thematic way such as love, betrayal, loss, tragedy and so much more. Its just filled with such powerful & goosebumping moments throghout; from that most famous & iconic speech right upto Williams very last word "FREEDOOOOOOOOM" it still brings tears to my eyes everytime I rewatch it. And I've watched this films hundreds of times throghout my life and it still hits me hard now ad it did the very first time I watched it. The score from James Horner is absolutely fantastic and really elevates the film even more; especially at the battle of Stirling Bridge when the English cavalry are charging towards the outnumbered Scots in slow motion on horseback. "HOLD HOLD HOLD NOOOOOOWWWW" absolutely awesome & goosebump inducing stuff, they just don't make them like this anymore!! And YES I'm very aware of Bravehearts historical inaccuracies, but tbh I don't care how inaccurate it is. When you take & watch this "MASTERPIECE" on its own merits and you perceive in that lens; this movie is so well crafted, beautifully shot, with phenomenal dialogue great side characters as well Braveheart has it all. It 💯 deserved its 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 Oscar wins!! I love this movie with all my heart; its just an endlessly rewatchable movie, that never ever gets old.Braveheart - Scary Movie
Easily one of the most disappointing movies of 2026!! And imo this is the worst entry in the franchise!! However its made a lot of money 💰 and unfortunately was a hit; so there will definitely be another one in the next couple of years. Fingers Crossed 🤞🤞 that the next one isn't as disappointing or god forbid be even worse than this one!!Scary Movie - Toy Story 5
Its great to see that "Toy Story" is still going strong 💪 I'll always have a massive soft spot and a special place carved out in my heart for this franchise; as the first 02 films were a massive part in my movie fandom growing up. There yet to have a mid to bad movie. All 05 films are very solid with some obviously being better than others. I wouldn't give any of the 05 films less than a 4.5 Rating and Toy Story 05 is 💯 a Top Tier Toy Story film. Recommending it goes without saying!!Toy Story 5 - The Invincibles: The 1974 Lions Rugby Tour of South Africa
The one & only time that a Lions team went entirely unbeaten on a 🇬🇧 Lions Tour 🦁 To go to out to South Africa and not only win a Lions Tour in one of if not the hardest & most intimidating place to go and win in all of World Rugby but to go entirely unbeaten is the stuff of Legend it really is. It hadn't happened before or since which in itself tells you what a monumental effort & achievement that was. And this Lions Tour absolutely proved without a doubt that 🏴 Wales 🏉 were easily one of the best teams in the world during the whole of the 1970's. As the vast majority of that Lions 🦁 team were 🏴 Welsh players and it was because of them why we won the Test Series and went unbeaten in the process. 🏴 Wales were European Champions nearly every year during the 70's and won the Grand Slam 03 times during that decade as well. 🏴 Wales 🏉 really were a Rugby winning machine back then. I'm 💯 convinced had the Rugby World Cup 🏉🌎🏆 been around back then, they would have won at least 02 World Cups that's how great they were. And when you watch that Test Series win it was the Welsh players that scored and setup most of the Try's and they singlehandedly ultimately achieved this monumental feat for us. I just have mad respect & admiration for that Welsh team, I really do 🫡The Invincibles: The 1974 Lions Rugby Tour of South Africa - Rivals: Messi v Ronaldo
Whenever I have discussions with Football fans about who is the greatest out of Lionel Messi & Cristiano Ronaldo; for me it's Lionel Messi. Since Ronaldo lost his pace due to getting older, he's not a shadow of the player he was 10 years ago as we would glide through & terrorise defences for fun. For me Messi is still very effective in so many ways and basically carried Argentina to the World Cup 2022 triumph and is continuing to carry Argentina in 2026 and he still scores vital goals at such crucial times and moments as well. However with that being said as I've always said, we are so lucky & blessed to have grown up in a time where two of the best footballers of all time were trying to outdo eachother and pushed themselves & eachother to the limit; which as a result made them the GOATS 🐐 of the beautiful game. So whether your more of a Messi or a Ronaldo fan they have both given the sport and us football ⚽️ fans so many wonderful memories and iconic goals & moments over & over & over again, just make the most and appreciate the both of them; as we'll never see any footballer on the same level as these two ever again there both one offs. And when they both retire and hang up there boots it's really going to be a very sad time I'm dreading it. And looking back at all of the great moments & iconic goals that they both gave us; we will never have or see anything like that ever again or have a rivalry like it ever again. Its literally once in a lifetime if that, we have been truly spoilt for those of us who grew up watching these 02 titans of the sport.Rivals: Messi v Ronaldo - Ronaldo vs. Messi
How lucky is our generation to have grown up watching the whole careers; of two of the best footballers that have ever played the beautiful game. It's always amazed me that the two of them played in the same generation. I literally grew up watching the two all time greats of this sport and now there both closing in on retirement it just fills me with pure sadness; as I'm never going to watch these guys play ever again and the 2026 World Cup 🌎⚽️🏆 is going to be an end of an era, for not just both of the all time greats in 🇦🇷 Lionel Messi & 🇵🇹 Cristiano Ronaldo but for a few other really top players as well.Ronaldo vs. Messi - Simon
The low budget quality & aesthetic was ironically this films biggest strength for me, as it gave it that realistic look & feel to it!! However due to the films poor execution and how it was all utilised, it didn't capitalise, build off and play into the movies low budget; because there was an opportunity to really create a very disturbing atmosphere, suspense & uneasiness and they really dropped the ball on that. I wasn't once on edge or felt gripped tbh. And through a lot of it I felt bored, that's the worst feeling in the world when watching a movie and especially a movie like this one is feeling bored. And the acting all round wasn't terrible but was very average. When you have really good actors in a movie like this, that can make a massive difference in terms of making you feel on the edge of your seat throughout and it just wasn't here at all. Along with the movies whole pacing that's what really hurt this film imo. And finally 🚨 [SPOILER] 🚨 the most weakest, predictable & lazy attempt at a twist ending where it's revealed that the psychiatrist was a serial killer as well. And now he's going to as the film implies is going to show "SIMON" how to be a proper serial killer 🙄🙄🙄 lol I will be 💯 honest and say that its not the worst film in the world because it isn't. There's a lot of significantly worse movies out there, but this didn't have any spark to it at all. It was just lifeless, very lame, predictable, boring & ultimately disappointing!!Simon - Saw X
This is one of those extremely rare times where a 10th entry in a horror franchise ends up being one of if not the installment in the entire franchise. And "SAW X" imo surpasses even the 2004 original Classic [YES[ I think "SAW X" is that great and there's a lot of reasons why; first of all it's actually centered aroun John Kramer, I've always wanted the SAW series to be revolved around him he's such an iconic horror villain. Also I love how they make John sort of the antagonist instead this time around; because you want to see all of the people that screwed him over get there comeuppance as they are very bad people with what they are doing to vulnerable dying people!! And my god do we get an antagonist that we absolutely despise Cecilia holy s**t what a vile human being that woman is woof. Synnove Macody Lund plays her to perfection seriously what a villain. The traps & gore are really knarly & fun in this one as well. And the fact that John actually gets put into one of his traps is something that's never happened before. I just wished we could continue this storyline with John & Cecilia; in a direct sequel to this entry, but it's highly unlikely that we'll ever get it which is a big shame!! Overall "SAW X" was a massive surprise with how great it turned out being. And I don't for the life of me understand why they didn't continue this storyline forward; because this was very well received by both fans & critics!!Saw X - War of the Worlds

There's so much going on here thematically, the message that it conveys is very well done. It's also very layered and really delves into the different perceptions of life. "Vanilla Sky" is a very thought provoking film to say the least and what it brings forward so well is that even when you have it all wealth, charm and youth, it can all be taken away from you just like that through one costly decision; that our main character of the film "David" makes. Like he says later on in the film [I should never have gotten into that car] everytime I hear that line when I rewatch it I get goosebumps. And the incredible score helps elevate not just that moment but the movie as a whole. "Tom Cruise" has come out and said before that he thinks "Vanilla Sky" is one of the best films of his career. [YES] even the man himself regards it as one of his best, which I think is awesome!! This is one very powerful movie that really stops and makes you think about life and what it all means. When your young as I am right now writing this review, you feel invincible but the harsh reality is that's only for a short time. And "Vanilla Sky" in its own way is telling us the viewers watching through its cinematic language; that you don't know what's around the corner and every single moment in your life is really precious & important. It's touches on all of those things in a way that feels very real. And this film is telling us no matter who you are or what your lifestyle or background is like, none of us are invincible. There's so much more I could go into here; as the film has so many layers in terms of love, fate, regret & the decisions that we make. Overall "Vanilla Sky" is a movie that always resonates with me in so many ways. I love this film. It's a masterpiece in my mind. And I love how the ending is open to multiple interpretations. And with having it end that way is perfect for a film like this. And finally My Ratings/Scores for the fantastic "Vanilla Sky" is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & a 10/10Vanilla Sky - Mulan
My favourite animated "Disney" movie and [YES] it's "Mulan" not "Toy Story" or "The Lion King" even though I loved both those films growing up as well. I love the whole story and for an animated Disney film; this one really packs an emotional punch and has a lot of meaning & weight behind it. There's a massive character development & arc with our main character, the title of the movie "Mulan" also all of the side characters all standout and each of them all have there moments & arcs of there own. The dialogue is brilliant all the way through, I absolutely love the animation in this film!! There's so much themes going on as well in regarding honour and defending the people you care about and doing what's right. And for a Disney film this is very powerful. I've always loved this film since the first time I watched it in "1999" a year after it came out. I still have the VHS 📼 to this day or nostalgia what a powerful thing that is!!Mulan - Antz
This was the first time I watched "ANTZ" in a very long time!! And when I watched it today it just brought back great memories; I grew up loving this film and I was only 5 years old when it came out thats wild. I just felt so nostalgic the whole way through it. Also there's two [Fun-Facts] about "ANTZ" 01: This was the first ever animated film to come from "DREAMWORKS" studio & 02: Most people already know this, but I'm going to mention it anyway and that is this came out the same year as "A BUGS LIFE" so in the year "1998" we had two ant movies and tbh I slightly preferred "ANTZ" over "A BUGS LIFE" but that's me!!Antz - Fall
My legs were like jelly the entire time when watching; as somebody that's terrified of heights, so in that aspect they executed it very effectively I thought. Yes there's plot-holes and you have to turn your brain off and ignore the very over the top & unrealistic elements of the film. But viewing it as just a movie and nothing more, this gave me a lot of thrills. I just felt I couldn't look away, it just kept sucking me back in I had to keep watching. This film is highly watchable, with loads of tension and with it you have that heart in your mouth type of feeling throughout as one mistake and its game over. There's a twist that they go for regarding one of the friends that I felt was very obvious, so as far as twists go it fails but as a whole; this is a very good movie to watch with family & friends that's a fun thrill ride in terms of how the heights are shot and everything. There are some small moments where you can see it's a green screen but that's mainly in the opening of the film. And yeah "FALL" is a film that I recommend!!Fall
