White WallŘada 1

A strange white wall is found deep underground, at the mining site of the world's largest nuclear waste depository. Project director Lars Rapp wants to keep it secret, but rumours spread quickly in the small town that has sprung up around the site. Lars and his team soon realize that the wall is not made of any material known to man and he must make a decision that might well be the most important in the history of mankind.

The project is delayed and activists are trying to stop the opening. One night, the guard Oskar shoots an intruder in the area. Shortly afterwards, a mysterious explosion occurs that kills three people in Lars' team. His closest colleague Helen survives but does not remember much of the incident. The white surface is exposed more and more and it turns out to be a huge white wall. Helen sends a sample of the wall to a laboratory for analysis. Lars and Helen seem to fancy each other. Helen's son Axel is completely engulfed by live broadcasts from a March expedition.

    The inexplicable.A ceiling collapses in tunnel exposing the huge white capsule that Chris predicted. Lars is desperate to find out what's inside it. Lars wants a rational explanation, while Helen thinks it is beyond human comprehension.

    ClosedHelen warns headquarters about the white capsule, which causes the arrest of Lars when he tries to drill a hole in it. Management blasts the entrance of the capsule tunnel shut in order for work to continue undisturbed. Oskar wants to know the entire truth and helps Lars escape from custody.

    The end is nearLars finds another entrance down to the capsule. He keeps drilling and finally manages to penetrate the surface. Liquid seeps out of the borehole and Lars manages to take some of the liquid up above ground before he is arrested again. Helen and Axel flee town but return to check on Lars.
