I'd like to see evidence of this behavior in these animals if they're going to depict it. Though I don't know for sure, it rings of the feminist propaganda that is difficult to avoid in mass media. Apparently, it can't even be avoided on nature shows where heavy speculation is in order. Feminists in their rage don't understand the old 'absence of evidence is not evidence of absence' line, which makes speculative nature programming subject to the same online outrage as other media. So even sticking to observed and natural depictions of extinct animals is vulnerable to feminist fury. But I cannot prove it. So we're stuck with watching Mr. Mom and his merry band of squeaky little chew toys. And speaking of, all the "baby boo boo coochie coo!" sounds the baby spinosauruses make are ridiculous, unrealistic, and clearly entered for the benefit of a barely adolescent adult audience. The effort forfeits serious research based on empirical data. Though we can't know for sure (again, 'absence of evidence'), very few animals run around making cute little coochie coo noises every move they make. It takes you out of the story. It takes you out of nature. It takes you out of what should have been a dazzling trip to a foreign exotic landscape and shoves the viewer glibly through the fourth wall. I wanted to love this. Animators and consultants, you have to do better.
