On the day of his 60th birthday, he finds himself on the road accompanied only by a cargo escort named Irina. Meanwhile, back at the depot, his colleagues and his son, Ivan, are preparing a celebration. The festivities are nearly cut short when a reckless driver cuts off the heavy truck on a slick highway, causing the KamAZ to overturn. Fyodor and Irina are rescued from the wreckage and taken to the hospital by a passing motorist named Stanislav. When the police report the accident and the "missing" driver back to the base, the birthday party threatens to turn into a wake. However, the mood shifts from grief to joy when Fyodor Ivanovich walks through the door, safe and sound, accompanied by his new friends. - The Saber
