The tone is serious and sometimes bleak, but it fits the subject matter well and gives the story weight. While the show isn't without some flaws-certain subplots feel a bit drawn out-it ultimately succeeds in telling a compelling and emotionally charged story. If you're into intense, character-driven thrillers with a military edge, "The Terminal List" is definitely worth watching.
