  • Mise k Plutu a dál
    D1
Mise k Plutu a dálRoku 2006 byla vyslána meziplanetární sonda New Horizons na více než deset let trvající pouť ke vzdálenému okraji naší Sluneční soustavy. Jejím cílem bylo prozkoumat Pluto. Nakonec byla sonda nasměrována ještě dál. Až k nově objevenému záhadnému objektu... Když v roce 2015 vesmírná sonda proletěla kolem Pluta, byli jsme my pozemšťané okouzleni dechberoucími záběry, které následně poslala zpátky domů. Jedinečné fotografie nám odhalily dosud nevídanou mimozemskou krajinu – svět ledových hor střídaných planinami zamrzlého dusíku a metanu. Po více než dvou letech strávených neúnavným procházením a pečlivým studováním získaných dat NASA dospěla k novým pozoruhodným poznatkům o naší oblíbené trpasličí planetě. Ale u Pluta se sonda New Horizons and zdaleka nezastavila. Na Nový rok 2019 proletěla okolo objektu známého jako Ultima Thule, který je považován za prvotní stavební blok sluneční soustavy...
