She and Arne's sister Laura claim he supplied an income as a gigolo, notably with Nicole Hoogstra, as his dad Herman's life-insurance never paid because he committed suicide six months ago. Arne also planned to blackmail Nicole. He deeply resented Nicole's recent new boyfriend, Jozef, who advised Herman the investment he lost the family's savings on.
