The lead actor is NOT good and the director obviously decided to shoot as many scenes in low-light to avoid the audience noticing both the bad acting and terrible fight sequences. It's as if they took a white belt and cast them as a kung fu master. They obviously also needed to extend the main storyline across 13 episodes and didn't prepare for it - most of the story could have been done in 5 episode. Additionally, someone trained as a monk (even as a warrior monk) would have some self control, but the main character suffers from childish outbursts and innane lapses in reason. All-in-all, it's the worst of the Marvel shows I have watched so far (and I have watched over 90, including series). Avoid this entire show at all costs. My OCD forced me to suffer through it because I started it - that's around 12 hours of my life I will never get back.
- tellum6. srpna 2026I was shocked to see so many good reviews, to the point that I think they are fake or those people were on their phones the whole time and didn’t pay attention to anything. The protagonist is terrible, I have no idea why anyone thought making an adult hero act like a spoiled child who never grew up would be a good idea, it’s so glaring that viewers not realizing this are really media illiterate. On top of that there is no good fight choreography, so you’re left with an unlikable main character doing a bad investigation leading to no exciting payoffs. The one good thing I can say is that the very last scene of the season 2 finale is so inept that myself and the people I watched with all laughed at it legitimately for a half hour.
- Justin Hardin28. června 2025This wasn't really for me, I would say, because I'm not really an Iron Fist fan, but that should never be the case when it comes to great writing and great performances. Not that that's what I'm saying, but it just felt like there wasn't really enough to execute on from what was given to us, if that makes sense.
- REkzkaRZ18. srpna 2025Big time Iron Fist comic fan here. Also fan of "Heroes for Hire" and "Power Man & Iron Fist" comics. That said, this TV series was the worst Marvel series Netflix produced. It deserves half star, but only bc of the supporting cast. Finn Jones pick as the lead was shameful, Director could've easily picked a talented Asian martial artist, stuck a blonde wig on them (if necessary), but they went with a non-martial artist white dude and it was a painful FAIL. The shining stars of this show were Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) and Jeri Hogarth (Carrie-Anne Moss) who was in a few different Netflix Marvel series as a corrupted Rand Corp lawyer.

Danny Rand, tehdy teprve 10letý kluk, jako zázrakem přežil pád osobního letadla svých rodičů v Himálajích, kde ho na pokraji sil našli a ujali se ho mniši z kláštera řádu matky Crane - zapřisáhlých nepřátel velmi mocné zločinecké organizace říkající si Ruka. Tam se stane zdatným bojovníkem a též je obdarován mystickou silou známou jako Iron Fist - Železná pěst. Mezitím je ve zbytku světa prohlášen za mrtvého. O 15 let později Danny odchází z kláštera a vrací se zpět do města, kde vyrůstal a kde jeho otec a kamarád jeho otce Harold Meachum založili farmaceutickou společnost Rand. Danny se ujme svého dědictví ve firmě a snaží se kroky firmy řídit tím správným směrem, ovšem časem zjišťuje, že má jeho firma s Rukou společného více, než by si kdy myslel. Danny se tedy snaží vyhostit Ruku ze své společnosti a svého města, ale když to nevychází, jak si představoval, musí se rozhodnout, zda se bude držet svého poslání - tedy zničit Ruku a vrátit se zpět do kláštera.
