Contestants race against the clock to build mind-bending structures out of the world’s most iconic toy, and the results are often nothing short of spectacular. Half the fun, though, comes when gravity wins and the creations come crashing down. While it’s a genuinely entertaining watch, I’ll admit this is one of the rare cases where the American version edges ahead. The U.S. show feels sharper in both hosting and builds — bigger, bolder, and just that extra notch of polish. The Aussies, though, bring a warmth and humour that make their version easy to love, even if it’s a step behind in scale. It’s endlessly impressive seeing what can be done with a pile of plastic bricks and a ticking clock. Whether you’re a Lego veteran or just here for the accidental collapses, this show is equal parts art, tension, and gleeful nostalgia. When it all comes together, it’s architectural magic. When it doesn’t — well, that’s half the fun.
