Great actors and characters, story lines, and frequently gets into weighty issues, which is damn impressive for a 1-hour prime time network series. However, the 2022 reboot is a pale imitation of the original 20 season series. I can indulge my addiction again with Pluto's 24/7 L&O channel; unfortunately it seems to run the same few dozen episodes over and over.
