Caesar's Legion are reduced to a bunch of dumb larpers, who leave dynamite out in the open next to open flames, and out in the Mojave desert sun... Caesar died and named his successor on a note in his pocket. He told no one. The Legion split into two opposing sides literally 10 meters apart with his body left to rot on a hill between them. Lanius, who should have taken over, is not there or mentioned at all. Lanius's armor, now in the possession of Kevin McCallister larps as Lanius in his new film: Rome Alone. After the death of Caesar and Lanius, the legion should have fractured and barely exist just like the NCR. Caesar and Lanius were the lynchpin holding the faction together. Now Caesar is apparently only a title. We get more confirmation that the Lucy and the writers of this show are complete idiots. Lucy mansplains like an idiot to Kevin McCallister about the proper pronunciation of Caesar "Kai-sahr" thinking it's the German Kaiser "emperor". When in fact the Legion uses the classical Latin pronunciation of the word Caesar "Kai-sahr". Prima noctis is not in the game and is entirely invented for this scene so Lucy can fact check the Legion, the Legion in game never practiced or even talked about prima noctis. Actual lazy writing... After the Ghoul™ rescues Lucy he somehow rigs the dynamite to blow, all off camera. This episode has even MORE confirmation that the NCR was nuked BEFORE New Vegas. The Ghoul™ refers to the destruction of Shady Sands as being OVER 20 years ago. The show takes place in 2296. Fallout New Vegas takes place in 2281. That's 2276 for any of you smooth brain room temperature IQ shills. Camp Golf is deserted. Victor still exists solely for member berries and a convenient plot contrivance. Victor tells us that what House really needed was Cold Fusion in order live forever. So the Platinum Chip is now apparently retconned. The NCR is reduced to 2 rangers who haven't had contact with the NCR in a decade. The NCR are apparently the "Good Guys" because they are politically correct. Then the Ghoul™ says this spectacular line: "In my experience, if something is dead, it deserves to be". yet more confirmation that Bethesda hates every west coast faction and is writing them out of existence for Fallout 5. The Brotherhood scenes just keep getting worse, more doubling down that the T60 is just more abundant than ever with Xander having a spare. We get more cringe millennial dialogue from Maximus and Xander during their Vertibird flight: "hot dog, hard dick, bro" who talks like this? The flip up visor is the worst design choice ever for a piece of armor critical to the life of the person operating it. This was literally done with no afterthought or engineering in mind at all. Solely to pander to marvel slop iron man shills. Then there's the Soda plant child slavery scene, The political propaganda shoehorned into this show is staggering. The BoS now has an entirely made up rank of "cleric", gone are Elders and Scribes from the games. A shockingly bad fight scene takes place between a Securitron and power armor which is now over powered because the plot needs it to be. House hangs out in a public restroom waiting for Cooper Howard to come in. Cooper doesn't recognize House for some reason. It really, really feels like everything related to Fallout New Vegas is being intentionally disrespected and ruined.
