Psychologist Magdalena Borska returns to Poland after a few years of absence from the country and starts working in a hospital. On the very first day, the doctor has to face not only the patients' problems, but also the reluctance of the entire medical team, especially Andrzej Stommy, the head of surgery. The hospital employees hide from Magda the trauma they experience after a failed rescue operation that took place six months earlier, and one of the best surgeons in the hospital, Jan Sowiński, was accused of malpractice. How will the fate of the heroes go?
