The 'woah, didn't expect to see him there' GuyTeamwork is so important on a heist. But some roles may require a bit more legwork. You can’t just show up on the day of the job and be the ‘woah, didn’t expect to see him there’ guy. This sketch, like quite a few others, was inspired by our shared love of heist films and capers. The Sting, Ocean’s 11, Sneakers, Logan Lucky, Guy Ritchie films— we love this stuff and keep wanting to play in that world. All the characters you know and love-- Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, Rey and Kylo Ren, Han Solo and Chewbacca, The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda, Porkins and Baby Admiral Akbar, Yoda, Darth Vader, Rey, Boba Fett, Baby Baby Yoda (an even younger one) -- were they all created by someone else? It can certainly be a valuable filmmaking tool, but plenty of bad movies and TV shows (and even some great ones) try to get away with a bit too much creative audio editing and it really stands out to us. - We meet at first light!D16
