Aspiring newcomers and idols looking for a second chance alike come together to see if they can make the final cut. Half the show will feature Korean music, while the other half will focus on Chinese, with the winning contestants from both sides coming together in one group. A team of mentors consisting of talented music artists, dancers, and choreographers will help guide these idol hopefuls as they compete for one of eight spots, selected by the audience.
