Famous stand-up comedian Freddy De Vadder flees to a picturesque village called Bevergem. Why? Nobody knows. He doesn't talk about it. The contrast between him and the grotesque residents could not be bigger. In anticipation of the yearly town festival the temper gets heated. But Freddy doesn't care. He just hopes his hideout is secure.

Loft With CourtAfter waking up with a hangover stand-up comedian Freddy finds his way to Bevergem. Claude, the local politician, tries to rent him out a shabby loft above the charity shop and to set him up as a janitor. The entry of Freddy in Bevergem creates mixed feelings with the inhabitants.

Local car salesman Amar chooses a pig to be fattened for the BBQ of Bevergem's yearly Sow Festival. Amar and his wife Martine invite Freddy to their home.

Father's DayAmar isn't sure the baby is his and seeks Freddy for advice. The inhabitants gather at the charity shop to discuss the yearly Sow Festival. Hilde finds out that Claude is soiling the ground with used electrical devices for the foundation of his apartment project.

UfootsAt the press conference for the Sow Festival Claude comes up with a stunt: a tattooed pig of his artist cousin Wim Delvoye to star in the yearly parade. A journalist recognizes Freddy and the redhead gang help Freddy to deal with the problem. Kurt speaks out his profound love for Hilde.

The BeireslikkerAmar mocks Kurt with his embarrassing proposal to Hilde. Lorenzo pulls a stunt by bringing the tattooed pig to the butcher instead of the fattened pig to be prepared for the BBQ. Kurt snaps and tries to kill Amar with his crossbow.

World HeritageLorenzo's stunt is international news and the second day of the Sow Festival attracts a huge crowd and media attention. Freddy's hideout is no longer secure. Claude has to deal with the tattooed pig that has been eaten at the BBQ.
