D1Confessions of a private bankerGeneva, January 2012. The American tax authorities take aim at the Swiss financial centre, strongly opposed to their banking secrecy. In this extremely tense context Paul Grangier, the young director of the private bank Grangier and Cie is found unconscious, apparently in a diabetic coma. Accident? Suicide? His sister Élisabeth is convinced that it was actually attempted murder. - Baptism by fire
D2Baptism by fireThe Americans are pushing ever-harder and demand to know the names of the bank's employees. Élisabeth continues her investigation and suspects her brother Alexandre of having wanted to get Paul out of the way in order to take his place at the head of Grangier and Cie. She also discovers that Paul had stolen several million from a Russian client who was in possession of sensitive information about him.
