    ⭐⭐⭐ (out of 5) Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches – A legacy of power, prophecy, and potential that flickers more than it burns. “Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches” follows a bloodline touched by ancient magic, prophecy, and consequence — an intoxicating setup that should conjure awe, fear, and fascination in equal measure. The show delivers moments of real beauty and eerie atmosphere, yet it never quite commits to the dark majesty that its premise promises. It sits comfortably in the same coven as Charmed and A Discovery of Witches: stories of inherited power and destinies that refuse to be ignored. But where those series lean either into heart or heritage, Mayfair Witches feels caught between them — elegant and moody, yet somehow muted. The magic looks impressive, the cast does its best, and the world feels steeped in mystery, but it never digs deep enough to stay with you long after the credits roll. That said, it’s still worth watching — the tone, visuals, and slow-burn family intrigue have a certain charm, and the mythos carries just enough bite to keep you curious. You probably won’t remember every spell or twist a month later, but while it lasts, it’s an alluring stroll through the gothic corridors of Anne Rice’s imagination.
