Tristan Myles

Tristan Myles is an English visual effects artist who has worked in the UK and Canada. He won two Academy Awards in the category Best Visual Effects for the films First Man and Dune.

Myles was born to Eileen and Michael Shacklady and grew up in Basingstoke. He studied creative visualisation at Teesside University.

He won an Academy Award for First Man (2018), with Paul Lambert, Ian Hunter, and J. D. Schwalm and Dune (2021) with Paul Lambert, BrianConnor,r and Gerd Nefzer.
