- Gianni Cavuoto27. prosince 2025Zazie in the Metro is a really fun, zany, insane….did i say fun????movie. I really liked that Zazie was kinda really cute AND unlikable. Like that niece or nephew that you are really relieved when they go home. Yes, that is her. Overall if you are looking for a great story-line, it's not there. If you are looking for amazing acting, it's not there. What you will find in abundance is really smart and fun camera cuts and story telling. You will find good camera work and thoughtful blocking. I appreciate the time and effort that was put in to set up some of those shots. Do not read on if you have NOT seen the movie: One scene in particular was the acne when Zazie was walking down the stairs of mirrors. Earlier in the movie when her uncle was walking down them I almost screamed out loud WAIT YOU ARE MISSING A GREAT SHOT….and as if by magic the filmmaker heard me. Thank you Louis Malle for hearing me across the either. Overall it's a fun movie that can be enjoyed with anyone who doesn't mind subtitles and wants to experience a good time without having to use your mind too much. Highly recommended.
