- ርልዪረpřed 3 dnyIts insane to me that this is the first major motion picture about George Washington. Insane. The history is so fascinating and has so many crazy events that are almost hard to believe actually happened in this time period. Great cast. Loved Kelsey Grammer and Andy Serkis. Serkis was a standout to me. One of the better non-CGI roles I have seen him in. Right up there with Andor for me. Franklin William Miller is shockingly good for it being his first movie. Action was great and felt big scale budget, but I am pretty sure it wasn't a massive budget. I found the changes that they made to history fine. Don't love it being changed, but then when I think "how would you do this in a movie with out making it 4 hours and boring" I really have to give credit to the screen writers. It was tight and really fun. Overall, really strong film with good pace, fun cast and a fascinating part of US history most people don't know much about.
