- Zokkiiepřed 2 dnyI actually think there’s a lot to like here, even if it doesn’t fully come together. The ancient Egypt opening is easily one of the best parts — the scale, the visuals, and the idea of exploring the early history of mutants is genuinely cool. Most of the newer characters are handled well too, and the younger cast does a good job bringing fresh energy while the returning actors still feel solid in their roles. The biggest problem is that the story is just okay and doesn’t always know what to do with its huge ideas. Quicksilver once again steals the show with another incredible scene and honestly carries a lot of the movie’s best moments. On the other hand, Oscar Isaac feels like a weak link here, and the design of Apocalypse is a huge miss that takes away from what should have been an intimidating villain. Not a great X-Men movie, but there’s enough fun, good performances, and standout moments to make it a decent watch.
- Pascal Bollier14. ledna 2026oscar isaac is a complete miscast as apocalypse, the image i have in my mind is of the apocalypse from the animated show, not some puny human. compare this to DOFP and you will see that where there was a real sense of danger in DOFP, this will hollow. i mean millions and millions of people die...does anyone care? be honest...did you go "oh my god, how terrible" or did you go "meh". the movie does redeem itself somewhat by the end with a showdown that borders on slapstick. i had to laugh so hard, i nearly soiled myself. :-)
- fredbeard28. listopadu 2025A fun to watch early X-Men with a fantastic character list. I love watching the scenes with Quicksilver, they never disappoint. Just curious, call it a spoiler if you want but if you haven't seen this by now, you're the problem, not me. Was the plane they flew directly next to Magneto made from plastic? I mean he's ripping cargo ships and buildings apart halfway around the world but the plane is like, "meh" no worries 😁
