Režie: Duncan JonesKrálovství Azeroth a říše Draneor se od sebe nemohou lišit víc. Azeroth je vzkvétající říše lidí, v níž moudře panuje král Llane. Jeho vojsko vedené rytířem Lotharem a společenství mocných kouzelníků v čele s mágem Medivhem důsledně chrání mírumilovnou civilizaci. V Draenoru představuje život permanentní boj mezi znepřátelenými rasami Orků, jež spojí až neporazitelný nepřítel, nákaza, která v jejich zemi postupně ničí vše živé. Jejich vůdce Gul´dan vytvoří s pomocí temné magie portál, kterým můžou Orkové proniknout do jiného světa a ten si osídlit. Shodou okolností se jejich cílem stane právě Azeroth, jehož obyvatelé jsou ochotní bránit svou zemi do posledního muže, ostatně nic jiného jim ani nezbývá. Zdá se, že ničivý střet civilizací nelze zastavit, ti, kdo hledají náhradní řešení, přesto existují.

- Daniel Gustavsson12. října 2024I can't believe it. The movie was actually pretty good. Nowhere near as good as Assassins Fist though, but still, it's rare that these "game movies" are of this quality. Shame that there wasn't more focus on the other races, but oh well.

- Pete Dews11. února 2026What is a movie? If it's just meant to be fan service, this one deserves five stars. WoW players rejoice- this one is for you! But if you're not immersed in the culture of Azeroth, or don't know what the heck Azeroth even is, this one is just a confusing mess. It's pretty, and overall it's not impossible to follow- even someone who doesn't know the lore can keep up, they just won't be impressed with this one. A TV show would have done this justice, but a 2 hour runtime simply isn't suited to telling the story of the First War. Stick to the games if you are interested in WoW, and stick to Lord of the Rings if you're a fantasy fan looking for a movie to watch.

- Dad24. července 2025Travis Fimmel has eyes that will burn through you with their intensity. Knowing the game probably helps but it's not essential. Strong performances working with lots of CGI. It will entertain.
