This was told like an After School Specisl ftom the 70s. I understand that we often suspend reality ehen watching a movie, but this film requires one to suspend any type of logical thinking. Ridiculous situations combined with asinine character behavior followed by more ridiculous situations makes this incredibly low-brow. Heard there may be a sequel in the works. Not on my screen.

Characters are introduced without much depth, and motivations often feel unclear or underdeveloped. Rather than building tension, some plot points feel like filler or missed opportunities. Performances are earnest, but even solid acting can't fully compensate for a story that doesn't offer enough direction. Without emotional anchors or a clear throughline, it becomes hard to stay invested. In the end, "Trap House" isn't a bad movie, it's just a forgettable one. It had the potential to be more, but it falls short in pacing, structure, and narrative focus.
