The concept of soldiers being drafted into a future war through time travel is a cool idea, but the execution? Yeah, it gets pretty messy. The plot doesn't always make sense, and there are some pretty big logical gaps that you’ll probably just have to ignore to keep enjoying the ride. The emotional moments, while trying to give the movie some heart, can feel a bit forced or predictable. But if you're in the mood for something fast-paced with cool visual effects and decent performances (Pratt's definitely carrying it), it’s not a bad choice. It’s just not as smart as it wants to be. Still, it’s a decent watch if you don’t mind a bit of sci-fi silliness.

The Creature Design Is Awesome: The White Spikes are genuinely creepy like Starship Troopers bugs on steroids. The Action Is Relentless: From rooftop shootouts to jungle ambushes, the pacing rarely lets up. The Time Travel Setup Is Intriguing: The idea of being drafted into a future war is fresh, even if the logic gets messy. 🤯 What Made Me Groan Time Travel Logic Is a Mess: If you’re a stickler for sci-fi rules, this will drive you nuts. The paradoxes pile up fast. The Third Act Feels Tacked On: Just when you think it’s over, there’s a whole new mission. It’s fun, but structurally clunky. Too Much CGI: Some scenes feel like video game cutscenes, visually impressive but emotionally flat. ⭐ Final Thoughts The Tomorrow War is a popcorn sci-fi flick that’s big on spectacle and light on logic. If you can forgive its narrative leaps, you’ll get a thrilling ride with solid performances and some jaw-dropping alien battles. It’s not a genre-defining classic, but it’s a blast for a Saturday night.
- joshuacottle3012. července 2026Idk everyone says this movie is stupid but it’s my kind of stupid. Pure action and the way the plot culminates at the end is beautiful. Amazing CGI, and Chris Pratt as the main character is just the cherry on top.
- Arniox27. května 2026Surprisingly good. I actually really enjoyed this. It's a bit camp, a bit silly, the physics make 0 sense. There's a bunch of plot holes. But it's cool time travel, cool war against aliens, even cool apocalypse idea where the aliens actually win the invasion and humanity is down to only a few hundred thousand. It's very similar in those regards to Tom Cruiser's Edge of Tomorrow, so if you like that, you'll love this. I quite enjoyed the concept of drafting humans from the past into a future war. Reminds me of Tenet in that regard. And it's just a cool idea. Although they can only draft people who by the future time are dead. It's given to us as if it's a secret plot point. And then literally never shown or talked about for the rest of the movie. The end of the movie felt very very weird in terms of pacing. I don't know how to describe it, but it almost tried too hard to wrap everything up and the ending just came off odd. Plus they dropped a major revelation right at the very end, which I won't spoil. But it feels like it's setting up another movie. Even though this works fine on its own.
